WHEAT SEMOLINA WITH BEETROOT POWDER
10 minutes + cooling
- 1 cup milk as needed (200 ml)
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 20 g wheat grits
- ½ tsp beetroot powder by Bobica.hr
Place the milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Add honey and when it comes to a boil, add the grits and beetroot powder. Mix together until boiling, then reduce the heat to a minimum and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Immediately pour the cooked grits into a plate or bowl and garnish with nuts if desired. To further sweeten, add more honey or sugar as needed, and in addition to nuts, you can add coconut flakes and dried, fresh or frozen fruits.
