  • 2 eggs
  • 2 dcl milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 Tbsp beetroot powder by Bobica.hr
  • Coconut oil for the waffle maker



Whisk the eggs and vanilla sugar (a mix of vanilla extract and sugar) well, add the other ingredients and at the end add the beetroot powder and mix well. Heat the waffle maker and grease with coconut oil. Place the waffle mixture with a spoon in the middle and press down with the lid of the waffle maker. Cook until the waffle develops a nice color and crispy crust. You will get beautiful light red waffles. You can serve them with your favorite jam, forest fruits, whipped cream, ice cream or chocolate.

The waffles are still great the next day.
